Denise J. Storey, 55, of Dash Point, formerly of Bonney Lake and Tacoma, passed away peacefully June 7, 2013. She was born in Soap Lake to Henry and Meeka Bruenn, she graduated from Wilson High and Tacoma CC, where she met her husband of 35 years, Doug Storey. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Douglas M. Storey; daughters, Leslie (Loren) Schauf, and Erin (Kevin) Worley; 5 grandchildren; mother, Meeka; sisters Patricia Eillis, Susan Acuf, Lilly Van Slike, Terri Victor and brothers Von, Jon and James Bruenn. Beside her father, she was preceded in death by her son Randy. A memorial honoring her life will be held on June 12th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s in Federal Way.
