

Marilyn Crosby Evetts, 52, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Regional Hospital in Tukwila, Washington. She was born to William and Mary Crosby on June 29, 1961, at Washington Hospital, in Fremont, California. She moved to the Seattle area in 1985 where she met and married her husband of 17 years, John Edwin Evetts, Marilyn loved to cook, sew, and collect art.
Marilyn is survived by her husband John and her two cats Torby and Cheyenne. Marilyn is also survived by her parents, William and Mary Crosby of Newark, California; her sisters Deborah Gardner of Henderson, Nevada; Virginia Haskins of Auburn, Washington; Janell Crosby Lowrey of Quincy, California; and Teresa Scott of Enumclaw, Washington. Marilyn was predeceased by two sisters, Carolyn Sue Crosby and Donna Marie Crosby. She is also survived by her brothers Stephen Crosby of Millbrae, California; Martin Crosby of Newark, California, Michael Crosby of Manassas, Virginia; and Gordon Crosby of Newark, California.
Marilyn was also survived by 28 nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Haskins, Mason Haskins, Jacinda Haskins, Cameron Haskins, Martin Haskins, Mia Haskins, M.J. Haskins, Jason Haskins, Anthony Haskins, Jaylyn Haskins, Owen Haskins, Heather Haskins, Quincy Haskins, Carla Rainaldi Accettola, Marco Rainaldi, Linda Rossi, Eve Scott, Olivia Scott and Sophia Scott.Michael Peirpoint, Shane Spence, Brianna Spence, Logan Ford, Gavin Ford, Jacob Crosby, Caleb Crosby, Sarah Crosby.
Marilyn attended Memorial High School in Newark, California, graduating in June 1979.
From her birth in Fremont, California, on June 29, 1961, to her death on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, in Tukwila, Washington, Marilyn nourished people around her with her love and laughter. Marilyn went to work for the Federal Government in 1979 and found her home with the Veterans Hospital in Seattle, WA. She enjoyed her job and it meant a lot to her knowing she was helping our Country’s Veterans. She worked for the Government for 32 years.
A memorial service will be held at the family home on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 12-6 p.m.
