Devoted husband of Rosemary Centracchio; loving father of Annette Davis (Scott), Anita Belfi (deceased) (Brian), and Anthony Centracchio (Sherry). Dear brother of Iolanda DiFranco (deceased) (Gino), Livia Farinacci (deceased) (Michael), Melita Chiacchari (Nicole), Alfred Centracchio (deceased), Lucy Keys (Larry), Anna Maneage (Charles), and Marisa Beste (Roger); grandfather to Steven Centracchio, Dominic Belfi, Anthony Belfi, and David Belfi; brother-in-law to Edina Geurink (David – deceased).
He was born in Campobasso, Italy in 1940 and immigrated to the United States in 1958. He resided in North East Ohio for nearly 40 years where he was sole owner and operator of AC Cement and a member of the Cement Masons Local 404 in Cleveland, OH. He and his wife Rosemary (nee Mastrey) retired to Winter Haven, FL in 2006.
While in retirement he discovered his love of golf and spent many days on the golf course with his numerous golfing buddies. He also enjoyed bowling, watching Ohio State football games, and was well known for his wine making abilities. He had a passion for gardening, yardwork, and tackling various home improvement projects. Much like his name, Adelio was one of a kind. When he wasn’t doing things the right way, he was telling others how to do things the right way.
If you ever met Adelio, you never forgot him and likely have a memorable story of him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his surviving family members and friends.
Adelio was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Winter Haven, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Inc. in Lakeland, FL.
