Barbara Jean Pate, age 74, of Lakeland, FL passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born August 1, 1942 in Logan, WV the daughter of John Sloan and Rose Runyon Sloan. She was a member of Webster Baptist Church and Winston Baptist Church. During her working years she served as a nurses aid for Lakeland General, sectionizer for Kraft Foods, and manager in the fast food industry.
Mrs. Pate is survived by her sons: Terry Sanchez and daughter-I-law Sonya Boykin, and son Richard King, sisters Sylvia Thorn and Gloria Hall. Graveside Services are Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10 am at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale, FL.
