Bobby (Bob) Gean Warnock, Jr. passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 after a brief battle with an aggressive form of lung cancer. He was 63. Bob was born on November 10, 1957 in Beaufort, South Carolina where his father was based in the United States Marine Corps.
Bob was most proud of his 45 years of marriage to the love of his life Anita (Sanchez) Warnock. Bob met Anita as a child as they were both neighbors in a small town located in Fennville, Michigan. Bob spent a lot of his childhood living next door to Anita where they farmed, raised livestock, rode horses, and went to school together while finally marrying upon the announcement of being pregnant with their first child Samuel.
An enthusiastic fisherman, Bob spent much of his time taking his wife, kids, and extended family on a number of fresh water and saltwater fishing trips. Bob also loved to hunt, which he spent most of his time in Michigan hunting deer and even had a favorite tree stand located in Pullman, Michigan.
Bob and his wife Anita enjoyed taking cruises. This was a most recent hobby that Bob was really looking forward to doing more of in his retirement that he had just announced prior to his cancer diagnosis.
Bob loved all of his family, friends, neighbors, and especially his grandchildren. Bob became known to many as Uncle Bobby or Little Bobby even to those that were of no relation. He had a giant heart and children flocked to Uncle Bobby for love, entertainment, advice or tips on how to hunt or fish.
Bob came from a military family. Bob served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division. His father, Bobby Gean Warnock, Sr. served in the U.S. Marine Corps along with his younger brother, Richard Dennis Warnock who also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
