Carol Joyce Markos, 79, passed away on December 6, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on June 26, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio. She moved to this area from Temperance, Michigan 39 years ago. She was a retired book keeper and a member of First United Methodist Church of Auburndale.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Jill Storck, son, Jay Markos, five grandchildren; Becky Newberry, Jason Markos, Joshua Dankosky, Kyle Markos, and Kaylee Markos, and three great grandchildren; Kira Hurt, Jonathan Newberry, and Tanner.
A memorial service will be held on December 15, 2016 at 1 pm at First United Methodist Church in Auburndale, Florida, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida.
