LAKE ALFRED - Donald Bowen, passed away Thursday July 7, 2011 cause is pending; he was born in Columbus, Ohio, May 27, 1954 and came to Lake Alfred in 1966. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Lake Alfred. Donald Graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1972, and served in the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; 2 sons: Jason M. Bowen and wife Katie, Leesburg, Va., & Ethan D. Bowen; 3 daughters: Michelle C. Goode, Winchester, Va., Renae L. Bowen & Rachel A. Bowen both of Lake Alfred; mother, Blanche L. Bowen, Lake Alfred; 2 sisters: Cynthia M. Bowen, Keystone Heights and Patricia L. Ballard, Lake Alfred; & 3 grandchildren. Donald was predeceased by his father, Donald E. Bowen, Sr.
Visitation will be Mon. July 11, 2011 from 10-11 A.M. at Ott-Laughlin at Glen Abbey. Funeral services will be Mon. 7/11 at 11 A.M. also at the funeral Home.
