Mr. Gary Douglas Davis, age 70, a lifelong resident of Lakeland, Florida entered into rest on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 22, 1953 in Forsyth, North Carolina to William and Mildred Davis.
Quick with a smirk and a one liner, he retired from Otis Elevator after working there for many years.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Mildred Davis, and one sister, Brenda. He is survived by loving family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Breezy Hills Rehab and Care Center for taking great care of him each and every day over the past 14 months.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
