Much has been said by others. Adding to that, Ann was a "do-er. "  Ideas and empathy go a distance. Ann picked it up from there, courageously.

I would have loved to have known our grandmother, whom Leura was named after. ANN and Leura Camilla Etheridge Wiley both live on in my life as "givers."

Our love for Ann as a person and example of Kindness can only be expressed in our own lives as we live to bring honor to Christ.

So much regret I cannot attend the memorials in Auburndale.

To Ann's family,
Prayers for all of you...asking God's blessings of comfort, strength and peace.  Ann was such a wonderful, loving and caring person. She  was there for me and our family during the final days of both our parents and was truly a blessing from God.  I have known her all of my life as members of the Orange Street Church of Christ, but we really became close friends when she moved back to Auburndale.  She was such a special person and I am so thankful to call her "friend" and to have had her influence in my life.

Grandma Ann was a strong and amazing woman! She taught me to be brave and stand up for things I believe in.  I am thankful that I get to be her granddaughter. I will forever miss grandma and her southern accent. I also am blessed to share her name Leura! Grandma I am hoping that you are enjoying your new home and being able to remember all of us again. Please say Hi to grandpa for me along with my Grandma Hageman! Until we meet again Grandma Ann! I love you to the moon and back!

Wonderful memories of my best buddy from Orange Street Church of Christ, to Auburndale schools and even working together on the same part-time job during Christmas Holidays at Hancock's Five and Ten.  Have such fond memories from going home with her and her family after worship on Sunday.  The whole family was kind and loving. We were born the same month although me a year later,  married the same month and had our first baby close together.  Over the years as she moved away, we kept in touch and we both would drive some distance to visit each other.  She and I both believed that the life of a  "Christian" was the only life to live.  We both taught and encouraged our spouses to become Christians.  Ann will always hold a special place in my heart; and, eventho I never met all of her children, grandchildren nor even her great-grands,  I know they were her pride and joy and she loved family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.  I have many great memories of Ann as we raised our children in Ridgeway Iowa..Ann was a very loyal and loving friend and those memories will always be with me.  Love to the family, Jackie

Ann was married to Orville “Johnny” Johnson on September 5, 1961 and to this union four children were born. She is survived by her four children, Michael (Judy) Johnson - Cresco, IA, Michelle (Larry) Briggs - Eyota, MN, Deborah (Vic) Ryan - Sedgwick, KS, and Wesley (Suzie) Johnson - Waukon, IA, fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Along with her siblings Jean Hamrick - Odessa, FL, Brenda (Ron) Gunn - Phonex City, AL, and Lloyd “Buddy” (Joyce) Johnson - Ooltewah, TN, and many nieces, nephews , great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by Orville, her parents, her sister, Janis Pearman, and infant brother.
After raising her children Ann pursued her life-long dream of becoming a nurse where she was able to do what she loved most, giving to the needs of others. Ann retired from Good Shephard Hospice - Auburndale, FL where she enjoyed being able to comfort both clients and family.
