

Margie was born on May 17, 1929 in Bellville Ohio to Wilbur and Erma Worner. She grew up in Bellville attending local schools. She was very active in 4-H, Church activities, and the Marching Band.
Margie attended Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing where she received her Registered Nurse-RN degree in 1951. She has worked as an RN at Mansfield General Hospital, Mansfield Ohio; Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, Florida; and the last 29 years of her career at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, Florida where she retired in 1989.
She was an active member of the Salvation Army Church in Winter Haven for over 50 years. Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma, an avid reader, and a dear friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Margie Dailey was preceded in death by her husband James Dailey, her parents Wilbur & Erma Worner, her four brothers Franklin, Rexford, Richard, and Cecil Worner, and her two sisters Maxine Barber and Evelyn Wagner.
She is survived by her sons, Dan (Shirley) Dailey, Larry Dailey/Michelle Dailey, daughter Roberta “Bobbie” Dailey, Granddaughters Stacie (Zack) Bass, Kristen Dailey, Felicia (Denny) Wittman, Two Great Grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Margie Dailey was graciously served by the doctors, nurses, chaplains, caregivers, and volunteers at Good Shepherd Hospice. She spent her final days at the George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Good Shepherd Hospice at 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale FL 33823.
