Winter Haven - Mary Lee Madden, age 97, of Winter Haven, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,Thursday, October 3, 2013. She was born February 9, 1916 in Dothan,AL the daughter of Charles H. Fort and Ozie Pearl (Segers) Fort. She worked at Winter Haven Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Cornelius. She is survived by her son: Michael G. Green (Ginny), daughter: Mellonee Sue Pauley, step-daughters: Mary Beth Selah (George) and Jo Ann Murphy (Tim) sisters: Ellie B. Green and Lona Pearl Baxley, brother: Charles H. Fort, Jr., grandsons: Michael & Mark Green and Mitch Pauley, 5 step-grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 2-3pm with funeral services at 3:00pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Avenue, Auburndale, FL. Burial to follow in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
