Phyllis was a member of Highland Park Nazarene Church in Lakeland for many years and retired from working for the State of Florida as a bookkeeper.
Phyllis is predeceased by her daughter Valerie "Senna" Mobley and her brothers Dennis Presley, Calvin Presley and Dale Presley. She leaves behind her son Bob G. Mayes Jr. and his wife Mary of Lakeland, Florida along with her 2 granddaughters Sara Mobley and Savannah Mobley whose whereabouts are unknown. Phyllis also leaves behind numerous cousins and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date. Once services have been set the family will update her obituary accordingly.
