Rebecca Lynn McCormick

Rebecca McCormick, 47, of Winter Haven passed away April 10, 2017. She was born on May 24, 1969 in Bartow, Florida and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was employed by Polk County doing clerical work.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her daughter, Chrystal Mock and her mother-in-law, Cora Carruth. She is survived by her husband, Frank McCormick of Winter Haven, FL, her children; Chase Townsend of Jacksonville, FL, Chad Townsend of Polk City, FL, Cody Townsend of Winter Haven, FL, Kaitlynn Stokes of Polk City, FL, Taylor McCormick of Winter Haven, FL, Frank McCormick II of Newport, AR, and Brittany McCormick of Newport, AR, six grandchildren; Piper McCormick of Newport, AR, Wesley Pyle of Newport, AR, Aubrey Carufel of Polk City, FL, Emma Jo Townsend of Polk City, FL, Lara Townsend of Jacksonville, FL, and Temperance McCormick of Newport, AR, her parents, Willie Eugene Haynes and Catherine Rhea Haynes of Polk City, FL, her sisters, Kellie Brower of Dundee, FL, and Cathy Gainey of Polk City, FL, her brother, Clinton Haynes of Winter Haven, FL, and her father-in-law, JR Carruth of Lake Wales, FL.

A visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, FL, on Monday, April 17, from 10-11 a.m. A service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
