
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne Morris; his sister, Linda Keener; his brother-in-law, John C. Keener; and his beloved grandson, Trey Guffey.
Ronald proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran, including service in Korea, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Following his service, Ronald dedicated 33 years to working at Hughes Supply, retiring after a long and faithful career. Known as a hard worker, he often spent nights and weekends doing drywall work, a skill in which he was highly talented.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Wilma Morris; his brother, Tommy Morris; his sons, Jeffrey Morris (Jill), Wesley Guffey (Jolene), and Bill Guffey; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In his retirement, Ronald enjoyed vacationing with his wife and spending time hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished his family and the time shared with them.
A visitation will be held on February 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, located at 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Ronald will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
