Born on October 27, 1942, in Montclair, New Jersey, Valarie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose. She was the heart and soul of her family, and her warmth, kindness, and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Valarie began her career in the restaurant industry, starting as a waitress and working her way into management. Later in life, she transitioned to a fulfilling role in administration at a nursing home in Ocala, Florida, where she spent her final working years making a positive impact on those around her.
Above all, Valarie cherished time spent with her family. Whether it was enjoying a meal together or sharing stories over a cup of coffee, she always made family gatherings special. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister, known for her unconditional love and unwavering support.
Valarie’s beloved husband, Larry Teeter, was the love of her life. Their enduring partnership was a true testament to devotion and shared values. Together, they built a life full of love, kindness, and generosity. Larry was a constant source of support, both to Valarie and their family, and his caring nature mirrored her own. The bond they shared was deeply rooted in their mutual respect and shared passions, including their work together volunteering at the Humane Society. Their passion extended to fostering and adopting countless dogs in need of a loving home, treating them as their own children and providing them with the highest level of care a dog could hope for. Valarie’s family will take comfort knowing that her love for Larry will continue to shine through him, as it always has.
