Walter L Bradberry

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Bradberry, lovingly known as Pops, who departed this life on 6/8/2025. Walter was a loving, respectful, and strong man whose stubborn spirit and caring heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Walter was a pillar of strength and kindness in his family. Though sometimes stubborn, his love and care were unwavering, guiding those around him with wisdom and patience. He earned respect through his actions and his genuine dedication to those he loved.

He is survived by his son Aaron Mathew, daughter in-law Krystal Mathew and grandchildren Timothy, Kristina, Aiden, his sister's and brother's Becky Pitts, Leva Bradberry, Sissy Bradberry, Loretta Bradberry, Clyde Bradberry, (preceded in death by Judy Johnson and Larry Sanders), brother in-law Jamie Castleberry, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. Walter’s memory will forever be cherished as a father, brother and uncle who stood firm, loved deeply, and cared endlessly.

Saturday June 14th a viewing will be held at 10am followed by a service to honor Walter’s life at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home (2198 K-Ville Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823). After the service, we will proceed in a funeral procession to Eagle Lake Cemetery for Walter's Burial, 2100 Spruce Rd, Eagle Lake, FL 33839. Friends and family are invited to follow in line as we honor this remarkable mans journey.
