Mr. Wilson was a great family man who passed his values of respect and dignity to his family. He served in the United States Army with great honor and pride for 24 years, serving in Vietnam and Korea. He retired from the Civil Service after 31 years of dedicated service. Mr. Wilson received an award from Fort Gordon honoring him for over 50 years in Government Service. Bob enjoyed fishing and working on his computer.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife, Gisela Wilson; sons, Bobby Wilson (Lee) and Wayne Wilson (Suzanne Deecan); sister, Sarah Jane Waller (David); granddaughters, Brianna and Nicole Wilson; and numerous close dear friends of “Mister Wilson”.
A memorial service will be held 5pm, Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Freed officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
