Constance A. Singleton

AUGUSTA, Ga.- Constance A. Singleton, 78, of Augusta, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her residence. Connie was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She is an alumna is Lucy Craft Laney High School and a 1977 graduate of Augusta College. Connie worked as the Dean of business affairs at the Medical College of Georgia. Connie will be remembered as a fashionable, strong, outspoken lady, who always spoke her mind. She loved to travel to the beach, especially Hilton Head, NC and Cuernavaca, Mexico. She was caring and loyal to her family. Her family was always her number one priority. Connie Singleton will be remembered with love by all survivors including family and close friends. Survivors include a niece, Jasibi Crews; a nephew, Michael Crews; cousins, Louis Greene Rainey, Hazel B. Livingstone; sister-in-law, Rebecca Neusom; Goddaughter, Chelsea Rahn Magness; and several other family members. A memorial service will be held 3 pm Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Telfair Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with the Rev Dr. J. Andrew Menger and Minister Stacey L. Williams officiating.
