Hephzibah, GA- Demetria R. Rivera, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born on October 8, 1927 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Demetria loved to cook for her family and friends. Her mouth- watering, Puerto Rican dishes were her specialty.
Demetria is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Victor Rivera Quiles; son, Victor Rivera; daughters, Ivette Rivera and Sonia Rivera Miller; granddaughters, Michelle Beck, Lacey Miller and extended family in Puerto Rico.
Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at 11 AM until the service hour.
