Augusta, Georgia- Eddie Ewan Washington, 64, entered into rest December 14, 2010.
Mr. Washington was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Ruth Taylor; and several of his siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 30 years, Yong Cha Washington; six siblings, David Allen,
Martha Allen Crockett, Charles Thomas, Patricia Porter, Maxine Ellis-Dennis, and Montell Taylor; daughter, Kattie Washington; two sons, Eddie Ewan Washington, II and Andee Washington; and granddaughter, Kierstin Bragg.
Mr. Washington was a retired member of the U.S. Army Signal Corps and a Vietnam Veteran. He was stationed at Fort Gordon and retired after 20 years in the military. Mr. Washington was raised in Gary, Indiana, and resided there until he went into the military.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
Memorial services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
