Mrs. Watkins is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary Etta Carter; daughter, Treasy Heard Wingo; siblings, Louise McCray, Johnny Lee Carter, Calvin Carter, Maggie Mae Carter, Althea Grace Lamar and Cory Carter. Mrs. Watkins is survived by her loving husband, Willie Watkins; children, Corry Carter, Whyshika Narciso, Thoreau Watkins William Watkins, Michael Watkins, Tyrone Watkins and Tanya Watkins; siblings, Narvie Allen, Maple Carter, Andrew Carter, Annie Muriel Cater, Shirley Ace, Mary Louise Stokes, Ruby Faye Woodson, Vatis Ann Jones, and Linda Ann Carter; grandchildren, Sharkara Nesbitt, Teyreara Robinson, Ciniyah Narciso, Rasean Watkins, Zamiya Watkins, Myles Carter, Diamonique Porter, Corry Carter Jr., Deziraia Carter, Thoreau Watkins, Jr., Monet Watkins, Tramisha Mullings, Tremaine Mullings, Jalen Houston, Chris Watkins, Tyrone Watkins, Jr., Zheniah Watkins, Janyia Watkins and Katherine Elizabeth Santiago and Rebecca Watkins; great-grandchildren, Aline Neveah Roberts and Ralon Leo Lamont Roberts.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12pm at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
