Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Sikes; her parents; Ernest and Nannie Patrick, brothers, Hugh, Carl, Jimmy, Edd and Harmon Patrick; sister, Lois Callaway and great-grandchildren, Evie Bruner and Zolly Tucker V. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Barbara Sikes and Eddie Sikes (Pam); sister, Sybil Patterson; granddaughters, Amanda Bruner (Nick) and Lindsey Tucker (Tuck); great-grandchildren, Mae and Jack Bruner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sikes was a member of Pineview Baptist Church in Augusta, GA.
Graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn Sikes were held privately with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.
