Frances Beasley Newman

Mrs. Frances Beasley Newman, 90, of Thomson, Georgia entered into rest Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amy Harden and Walt Beasley; two sons, Thomas Newman, Jr. and William Billy Newman; three sisters, Pauline Miller, Dorothy Watkins and Sue Wells; two brothers, Paul and Cleon Beasley; and grandson, Ealey Pat Brunson. Mrs. Newman is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Irwin) Hillman and Nettie (Dale) Valentine; two sons, Hillary (Gail) Newman and Jimmy (Cindy) Newman; four sisters, Florence Pressley, Jean Muns, Thelma Adcock and Amy (Buddy) Gormley; three brothers, John (Mary) Beasley, Elton and Felton Beasley; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hillman officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Storey, Jesse Newman, Casey Newman, Paul Schwarz, Eugene Muns and Furman Muns. Graveside funeral services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stapleton, Georgia.
