AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Howard Delt Woodring, Jr., 58, of Augusta, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11am in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Howard was born in Fairborn, OH, to Howard D. Woodring, Sr. and Shirley Woodring. He moved to Augusta in 1975. He was an avid fan of the Dolphins. He enjoyed playing chess, golf, and bowling. He took flying lessons and boating lessons. He valued the time he spent with his family. In addition to his parents and Charles Boost, he is survived by his siblings, Mike (Kim) Woodring, Naples, FL, Ginny (Clint) Fulmer, N. Augusta, SC, Peggy (Rusty) Tomasson, N. Augusta, SC, Caterina (Ben) Jordan, Augusta, GA, Shari Callaway, Augusta, GA, Rob (Gail) Boost, North Village, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
