Mr. Kelly was an avid record collector. He dedicated his career by serving in the United States Navy.
Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine Kelly. Survivors include his daughter, Temple Franks; brothers, John and Richard Kelly; sisters, Patricia and Sharon Kelly; grandchildren, Gerelene Wagner (Robert), Elsie Dillehay (Roy Grover), Aaron Roberts (April), and Kayla Franks; 17 great-grandchildren; and step-daughters, Elaine Campbell and Donna Jo Butler.
Services will be held 4PM, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Canaan Baptist Church, 3907 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta, GA 30906, following the service. The family asks for friends to bring a covered dish.
