Jean Huffman Deines

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven Olson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Rd.

Mrs. Deines was a native of Wyndotte MI, but has lived in Augusta for many years. She worked in Patient Accounting at MCG. She is a member of Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved to scrapbook, read, and enjoyed animals, arts & crafts and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Deines, her brothers, Hiram Huffman (Mary), Daniel Huffman (Betty Ann), sister, Barbara Huffman Owens (Gary), and her twin sister Jane Culley., Her God daughters, Katherine, Tara Huffman, Faith Huffman, Anna Huffman, her mother-in-law, Gerda Deines, her brother & sister-in-law’s, Olinda (Dwayne) Lane, Sandy (Bryan) Nimmons, Karen Thomasson, Michael (Cindy) Deines, David (Esmeralda) Deines, Christopher (Vanessa) Deines, 23-nieces & nephews and 27-great-nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Chris Huffman, Ricky Wood, Matthew Nimmons, Timothy McGee, Daniel Nimmons and Dustin Doolittle.
