When a friend at any point in your life, makes an indelible mark on you, then you never forget them and always keep them in your memory. For me, Jeff was one of those friends. I will always miss him and the friendship we had, and I will always remember him most fondly.

My condolences for your loss, which I just found out about. My parents owned the Woodland Inn, where Jeff was a demon at pinball and darts. He was always friendly and respectful to me, even as a punk kid pestering the Drug Fair patrons. I have only fond memories of him, and am saddened to hear of his passing.

I was good friends with Jeff, way back growing up in Gaithersburg Maryland. I was a little older, graduated Gaithersburg High School a little before, but I worked with Jeff at the part-time after school jobs we both held at the old Drug Fair drugstore in Walnut Hill Shopping Center stocking shelves and the like for about 3 years. Jeff was always smiling, happy, quick with a joke and a joy to work with and be around. He was my friend, way back in the day. May he rest in peace. Miss him, miss those days.

I had the great opportunity to meet, attend school with,  get to know, and spend time with Jeff beginning in our junior high years, continuing through high school.

You all were very fortunate to have had such a nice person,  caring individual, and family member in your life. Please always remember the good times, life experiences, and just how fortunate you were to have Jeff in your lives.

Back in 1982, my cousin Jeff and I started our misadventures at THE Londonderry!  Jeff introduced me to his friends and made me feel like I had been part of the group all along.  He worked very long, hard hours at Drug Fair, while we waited and waited for him to join us at The Woodlawn Inn, so we could all play Asteroids and Pac Man together like we were 10 again--if only we had those games when we were 10.  Jeff's antics imitating friends (and relatives) kept the entire bar entertained:) And then there were the Sundays heading to The DC Fish Market-- Jeff in the fast lane in his Pontiac Sunbird speeding down 270 at 48 mph.  I didn't understand the people blowing horns and passing us on the right with just a one-finger wave.  Thought it was just a MD thing.  Afterwards was even better, Jeff the master crab steamer,  dropping the crabs and singing ho, ho, ho … fun times.  Jeff was friendly to everyone--easy going, content, and very fun to be with.  I am so thankful for our time together.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Laurie, Lorin, Nick, Uncle Shorty, Cindy, Steve, Amy and their families, as well as Jeff's friends, co-workers, and all who loved this wonderful guy.  RIP my friend-you will be sorely missed!

My sincerest condolences, Amy, Steve, Cindy, Mr. Kopas, Laurie and family.  I worked with Jeff at Drugfair some 30 years ago.  He was a groomsman at my wedding.  He was a great friend and taught me so many things about life.  So many good times and I am greatly saddened by his passing.  He influenced so many lives... he will be greatly missed.  Godspeed Jeff!

I am so truly sorry for your loss of husband and father. I cannot stress enough of how much he loved you all.  Any time he spoke of you guys, he beamed. There are no words I can think that could close at this time to console you. He was much loved at work and he always had an ear for me. It was a joy to see him each month at the meeting. especially to send a hug your way! The picture I am attaching is at Pete's retirement party. It is how he always looked to me. My brother, Jeff, was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He was a great brother and friend. He supported me unconditionally.  He loved me and I him. His huge heart let anyone in with a welcoming smile, flashing...mischievous green eyes,  and the ability to listen and hear what his friends were saying. Jeff loved Laurie  and his children with his whole heart...with passion and dedication.  I will miss him, but somehow take comfort that he will watch over me.

Jeff...a wonderful, caring, patient and kind man. I feel honored to have known him.  He will be so missed.  My heart goes out to all family!!!

Jeff was great to work with and for. He was so easy going and pleasant personality to be around. I'm really going to miss him. Jeff, was liked and loved by so many people. My dearest thoughts are of his family.

Dear Laurie and family,

I am very sorry for your loss, even though we have never met, having known Jeff, I know you must be a special person. Jeff and I were good friends our senior year at Gaithersburg High School. We did a lot of cruising around in his Chevy Biscayne on Friday nights. I remember his border collie (name escapes me) would circle us or his entire house when I visited there, it was so funny. In those days Jeff put in a lot of hours working at Drug Fair in the Walnut Hill shopping center, even though he was in high school Jeff seemed to run the place. In recent years we reconnected on FaceBook and through his pictures I could see he really was enjoying life. While he was in my area a couple of years ago, we almost got together at a gig my band played, but plans changed and we missed each other.

Dear Laurie and family,

I am a (distant) high school friend of Jeffs.  We reconnected on social media after many years.  I enjoyed looking at the photos he shared and I could see so much pride in his smile when he surrounded himself with his family.  I also enjoyed his many political missives that he 'splashed' with humor.
Although we have never met, I'm thinking of you and the rest of the family as you gather to celebrate Jeff's life that was cut so short.
