Josette Y Bennett

Mrs. Bennett was born in France and has made Augusta, GA her home since 1954. Above all, she loved the Lord and was a member of St. Mary’s on The Hill Catholic Church in Augusta. She was a sweet loving lady who adored children and was expecting her first great-grandbaby soon. She also enjoyed wine, coffee and chocolate. Also in her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on the balcony at the beach reading and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Bennett is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Richard Bennett; and her parents, Jean and Madeiline Perillaud. Survivors include her children, Isabel Elaine Bennett, Barbara Bennett Bay (Stephen) and Veronica Bennett Bullock (Daryl); grandchildren, Stephen Bay, Ethan Bennett Padgett, Abbey Padgett Turner (Daniel) and Charlotte Rhyne Bullock; great-granddaughter, Sullivan Kate Turner and sister-in-law, Micheline Perillaud.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Father Solomon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
