You were always so crazy and fun..ever since i heard the news you cross my mind more often then usual..ill always cherish every one of our memories..down to every last hug you were one of my first friends i made in georgia..and i know you made everyone so proud..youll forever have a special place in my heart..im sure you and stephen are having a blast

It was a pleasure to know such a wonderful person, you always made people smile on a  bad day. God has you now and you will truly be missed.

What to say? This is so shocking and heartbreaking. I will miss you. You were my first for everything and we had so many memorable moments over the course of our relationship. Over the years we have kept very mildly in touch, but that is how I pictured it to be, talking about new adventures in our lives and the things we miss the most. Im happy that you are in a better place and I hope to see you again one day.
Keep an eye on your mom, she is one of the greatest women on this earth.

To Michael's family:
I want to thank you for bringing such a wonderful person into the world. In all my years I have never met anyone as genuine as Mike. I had the pleasure of working with Mike for three years, and we developed a friendship that I will cherish for a lifetime. Without question, if I needed a friend, it seems like I only had to think of Michael and he was there. Friends like that don't come along often, and I am so grateful for the time I had with him. I pray for peace for your family, because he is truly irreplaceable. Know though, that he is looking down on you, smiling that goofy Michael smile. It's hard to put into words what I've felt these last few days, but if I know Michael at all, I know that he wouldn't want anyone to feel sad. For that reason, I am choosing to cling to my memories of him, and live my life in a way that would make him proud. Michael never took a single minute of his life for granted, and I plan to live my life that way in honor of him.

I wish I'd gotten on the subject with Mike while he was still here about the way his attitude affected other people. I'd always meant to, as it was one of the first things a number of us had noticed about him at work when he first started. I always wanted to point out how much I appreciated that he understood the impact one genuine smile had on a person's day, but the subject never came up. Being servers, we all would come in some days not wanting to hear about someone needing extra ranch dressing or "meaning to say no onions"- but seriously, I never heard Mike complain. Not even once. That's just the kind of person he was though, or appeared to be; he understood what it meant to enjoy life and not sacrifice a moment of happiness or get hung up on the small things.
His eyes had a joyful innocence that it's rare to find anymore, and his was truly an example to be followed. We'll miss you, Mike.

Michael !! I didn't know you but!' I'm sure you family will miss you so much . Here on earth... I can only imagine  the wonderful time you are having in heaven!! I do know you brother Robert and his wonderful wife . So if you are anything like the two of them!! I sure this world has lost a wonderful man.. Tell my mom and dad hello for me in heaven!!

Michael Fountain was an amazing person i am so glad that i had someone like him in my life. My heart aches for losing a friend and also for his family as well. Michael will be truly missed. Everytime I saw him he had me laughing about something no matter what was going on. This is not goodbye but see you soon.

Just wanna let you know you are the best brother anyone could ask for.  I didn't get to spend a lot of time with you, but will always cherish the times we had together.  I'll always remember the time we spent in Triangle to the summer vacations in Florida to the summers you came to stay with us.  I will especially cherish last summer in Williamsburg when we got to spend quality time together.  You will forever be in my heart and loved very much.  I can only hope my boys grow up to be like you.

Michael had an ability to light up a room. When ever I needed soneone to talk to, he made sure he was there to listen. Driving home last night I was running through my head all the things I needed to do to come see him one last time. I looked up and the moon was shaped like a smile. I never felt so sure that I had someone looking down over me, over all of us. I want to thank Michaels family and friends. I know that each and every one of you made him the man that he was. My heart goes out to his family. I love you Michael!
