Nathan Lee Price Sr.

Mr. Price was born to the late William and Mary Price in Augusta, GA. Mr. Price earned a PhD in life and was also a man of God. In his spare time he enjoyed watching Westerns on television, fishing, traveling and going to the casino. Mr. Price adored his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Price is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Price; beloved son, Anthony Wayne Price; and siblings, William Walter Price Jr., Doyle Price, Opal Belger, James Price, Ray Price, Jerry Price and Tommy Price. Survivors include his sons, Nathan Lee Price Jr. and Robert W. Price and his wife Janice; sisters, Jewell Davis, Janice Dye and Linda Cassell; grandchildren, Brandon Price, Joseph Price, Tamara Price, Stephanie Price and Jennifer Price; and several great-grandchildren, especially Jayden Price.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Lumpkin Road chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers who will honor Mr. Price are Brandon Price, Joseph Price, Jayden Price, Travis Blitchington, Jerry Price and Steven Weeks.

The family would like to thank Tamara Price for the special care, love and support she showed her grandfather during his final days. The family would also like to thank the staff of Wife Saver on Washington Road for the comfort and support they showed him as he ate there every day after his wife passed away.
