Nell Ellenburg Rogers

Nell was born to Henry George Ellenburg and Ruby Waters-Ellenburg on December 12, 1933. Mrs. Rogers went to school in Wrens, Ga. She was married to James Preston Rogers, Sr, with whom she had many blissful years. Nell worked at AT&T for eight years as a payroll clerk. She was also a wonderful mother and homemaker to her three children, James, Paul, and Joy. She adored her Grandson, Adam. Nell was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Nell is preceded in death by her husband, James Preston Rogers, Sr. and her parents.

She is survived by sons, James P. Rogers, Jr (Carole) and Paul H. Rogers; daughter, Joy Stone; Grandson, Adam M. Stone and extended family.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home at the Lumpkin Road Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
