Mrs. Texas was born to the late Mr. Nark and Mrs. Chom in Bangkok, Thailand. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Augusta, G.A. She retired after 48 years from Fort Gordon, AAFES. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, cooking and adored animals, especially dogs.
Mrs. Texas is preceded in death by her husband Frederick P. Texas, her parents and all 12 of her siblings. Survivors include her son Bob Texas and his fiancée, Melinda Thibeault.
The family will welcome friends at a visitation service from 10am - 12pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 2524 Lumpkin Road, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park 2700 Deans Bridge Road, at 12:30pm.
