He was born on May 7, 1937 in East Hampton, New York, a son of the late Gaines Washington Pryor and the late Beatrice Pryor. He was a graduate of Tilton Preparatory School in Tilton, New Hampshire and Adelphi University in Long Island, New York.
Orville served his country in the United States Army. After his retirement from the Army he worked for many years for the American Red Cross. Fritz was a celebrated member of Toastmasters International and a 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his son, Michael Pryor and his wife, Cheryl; grandson, Mike Pryor Jr. and his wife Ashley and their two daughters, Samiya and Gabriella; granddaughter, Carly Pryor.
Interment will be private.
