Renee Wagner Shoob

She was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Savannah, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia. She was a member of Adas Yeshurun Synagogue in Augusta, the Augusta Jewish Community Center, a life member of Hadassah, and member of the Georgia Mortgage Brokers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Jerome Prager Shoob, her parents Louis and Helen Wagner, and her mother-in-law Frankie Rubenstein Levy. She is survived by her two children, Dr. Hylan Dara Shoob of Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. Merek Brandon Shoob of Atlanta, grandson Jordan Shoob, and sister-in-law Ann-Toni Estroff of Augusta.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 1134 Telfair Street, Augusta with Rabbi David Sirull, officiating. Graveside committal services will commence at 2:30PM in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Georgia The family will sit Shiva at the residence in Augusta.
