Sandy Taylor

Mrs. Taylor loved fishing, music, going to the beach and the mountains and planting and growing flowers. She was an avid fan and huge supporter of UGA Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. Mrs. Taylor adored her five furbabies that she shared with her wife, Lisa.

Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Mae Graves; brother, Terry Taylor; grandmother, Ressie Mae Harn and aunt, Robin Smith. Survivors include her wife and life partner of 35 years, Lisa Rector; siblings, Danny Taylor (Denise), Angela Taylor (LilBit), Michael Carr and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Special cousin, Bonny Moore; and special nieces, Bridget Suzuki (Cam), Megan Taylor (Chris) all who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the CSRA Humane Society, 425 Wood Street, Augusta, GA 30904. Please wear your GA Bulldogs or Atlanta Falcons Attire if you have any.
