Chae Yop Tarr

Chae Yop Tarr, age 79 passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Chae was born in Kyongnam-do, South Korea to parents, Kyong Sim and Ki Yun. She met and married George Tarr when he was in the Air Force. They were married for 40 years and had three beautiful children.

She worked at Red Lobster as the kitchen manager for over 25 years, retiring several years ago. Chae's children and grandchildren remember her wonderful cooking, her love of ceramics and painting, making homemade clothing for her kids and knitting.

Chae is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Tarr; son, George; and granddaughter, Brenna. She is survived by her children, Krys and Suzi; grandchildren, Leighton, Tom, Rachel, Kacey, Gabriel, Alyssa, Gryphyn, Tiegan, Jamisen and Lily; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation for Chae will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM, both at Advantage Aurora Chase, 1095 Havana Street, Aurora, CO 80010. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
