Denelle Jean Eidson was born on June 16, 1991, in Englewood, Colorado, to the late Cynthia and Darick Nees. She was lovingly raised by her stepfather, David Martinez, alongside her mother, Cynthia Martinez.
Denelle was the second of seven children, sister to Nicholas, Darcka, Daniel, Cierra, Dakotah, and Dalton. She shared a deep and lifelong friendship with Angel Reyes, a bond that grew even stronger through the shared journey of motherhood.
In 2015, Denelle was blessed with her beautiful daughter, Ezra 'Bella Dyann, who was the light of her life.
A cherished memory shared by her cousin Kimmi recalls their childhood mischief—attempting to make breakfast in bed for Denelle’s parents, only to leave the kitchen in complete disarray, resulting in a well-earned grounding. It remains a fond and humorous memory of their shared adventures.
Denelle was known for her infectious laughter, radiant smile, and quick sense of humor. She had a big heart and a kind spirit, always bringing joy to those around her. She loved spending time with family and friends, writing poetry, and listening to music. A talented poet, she found solace and expression in her words.
A lasting image of Denelle is one of her sitting with her bracelets jingling, a notebook and pen in hand, crafting a poem, her hair tied up in a bun.
Denelle would want to be remembered with a smile, laughter, and love, and for her family and friends to find peace in knowing that she is now reunited with her mother, father, and grandparents.
She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
