I remember JOEL as a quiet and decent person, one I wished had spent more time with and gotten to know better. I know in high school at HAYS HIGH SCHOOL he was on the basketball team, which was very talented, him included. I think he was second string, but one game where he was "allowed" some playing time, I think he scored 28 points. He was , I would say, a humble and un -assuming dignifed individual. He will be greatly missed- RIP in heaven

We will never forget the fun times we had with Joel camping, fishing and most recently playing golf. His dry sense of humor made us laugh. We will miss him dearly but have many great memories to cherish.

Joel was my friend as close to me as a brother for more than 40 years. My wife Shirley and I will miss him so much but pray we will reunite in heaven.
