My thoughts and prayers are with you during this extremely tough time right now! Our hearts were so sad to hear of Justin’s passing! I’m sure the pain will be with you forever; no words to console or express how devastating it must be to lose a child! Just know you have an Angel watching over you always! Hold all your memories tight as I hope they will bring comfort to you today and on! I’ll always remember seeing Kevin and Justin on the football field after the game! I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Justin from sports, school, holidays, paintball, the backyard, snowboarding and much more. We will be keeping all of you in our prayers.


Our families always found joy in getting together at picinics, camping, or family parties.  Justin’s energy and kindness was always present when he was around our girls.  We pray that remembering his life and the love Justin shared with each of you helps as you make peace with this heartbreaking loss. One of my earliest, fun memories of Justin was when he was 12 -14 months old and so shy that usually only Mommy or Daddy could hold him and occasionally his Uncle Ken who looked a lot like his Daddy.  The first time I was able to hold Justin was when Papa Frank and I had our pictures taken by a photographer at the Fire Station with all 6 of our grandchildren with us.  Ken brought him to the fire station that day along with Haley.  When the photographer said he was ready, Uncle Ken ran to me and put Justin on my lap and “SNAP” the photo was taken with Justin just realizing what had been done to him and his face beginning to break into a cry.  All of us were so happy the “Grandchildren Photo” was successfully achieved.

Justin… you’ve been my best friend since I could walk. We spent our whole life together from the days on Cypress Lane to me texting you one day senior year “where you going to college again? I’m coming with”; and on we went to Oklahoma State. I am going to miss you so much. My condolences to Glen, Debbie, and Nathan. 

Justin was chosen by his older brother as the 'best man' for a good reason. The best man is typically portrayed to be the celebrity of the family; best friend of the Groom, and famous for his hilarious and heartfelt speeches, and he is regarded as someone who is loved, trusted, and admired. Justin will always be remembered as "Awesome" in  my mind and heart. Justin was a great man ...

The first thoughts that immediately come to mind when we remember Justin,  is that he was a vibrant, athletic, handsome young man, always quick with a big friendly smile for everyone. Our families enjoyed many fun camping trips and parties together.  Even as a youngster, he could always have a great conversation with kids and adults alike - so personable and smart. 

Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to all of his family and friends who are so heartbroken. We hope for strength, peace, and understanding as you negotiate your intense grief. And for Justin, we pray for the same kind of peace. 

Go Wildcats! You were so talented and handsome and we're so proud of you. I will always remember you as a great, great man. 

My heart has been heavy since hearing this news. It’s been many years since we’ve left our hometowns, but Justin is a part of so many childhood memories for me. From preschool and church to Fourth of July and NYE parties to camping at Yogi bear to winter hotel pool weekends in Peoria and going to the Festival of Lights and many more, it was always a great time when “the preschool group” got together. Justin was always an extremely kind and fun kid. He had a really great heart, and it makes me so so sad that he isn’t here to share that with the world this side of Heaven any longer. Sending hugs to Debbie, Glen, and Nathan and you too up in Heaven Justin. There are no words or condolences that are enough for this loss, and there never can be; I’ll be praying for a long long time that God holds you all a little closer Olson family. 

I am so incredibly sorry to the Olson family for their loss that was simply way too soon.
I will always remember the few years I spent with Justin. From many nights at the Huey's, to blink 182 concerts, homecoming & prom dances, lacrosse games...Justin picking me up for school blaring screamo music at 7 AM in his truck. Somewhere out there is a video of us rapping Eminem in a limo, and that's how I will remember Justin. Always so charismatic, funny, fearless, and smiling. I'm sure he's rocking out up there, turning everyone's heads. Thinking of his family and anyone who knew him so much. May Justin Rest in Peace.

It breaks my heart to hear the passing of Justin. He was a funny, caring and overall a good person and friend. I will always have fond childhood memories with Justin. "Little Luke passing through with a blanket in his hand." All the years of swimming in the backyard kiddie pool, camping, ice skating, rollerblading/skateboarding, and so many other memories I will cherish forever. I will always miss you, and hope you are at peace.

I am absolutely devastated to hear about the passing of one my best childhood friends. So many core memories with Justin. One of my favorites is when we started a screamo acapella group called Emergency Exit in 8th grade. We tried out for the talent show, but before we could get out the first lyric, we had a laughing attack and ran off the stage! Needless to say, some of the funniest and best moments were with Justin.

Justin will forever be remembered as a leader, funny, athletic and kind-hearted individual. The world truly lost a good one.

I have no words to express how deeply saddened I am at the loss of Justin. I will always remember him as the little boy who wanted a "Mondo" in his funny little accent as a kid. I will remember the Star Wars games we played in Debbie and Glen's basement as kids. I will remember the outdoor parties and games of bags. I will remember his sarcastic comments and his kind words. What I will remember most of all was his smile even as a baby. It hurts my heart that I will never get to see it again. I wish I had known how much pain he was in and had the chance to help him, because we are all poorer for having lost him. Nathan and Justin are like brothers and it hurts that one is now gone. I will always cherish the times we had together and will keep his memory alive for the rest of my days. I love you Justin and I will miss you.

Justin was a wonderful young man, kind and caring, a joy. I remember conversations with him at family parties. Highly articulate and respectful. He brought happiness to his mom and dad, who always encouraged him and loved him. He will be deeply missed. God be with Glen and Debbie and Nathan, and all his family and friends, during this difficult time.

Some of my favorite childhood memories included time spent with Nathan and Justin. From the skating rink, halloween parties, birthday parties, turtle pond, park and the pool, the 3 of us always found something fun to do and stay active. 

My heart aches during this time and I’m also reflecting on some of the best summers spent with Justin and Nathan at the young age where life seemed so simple. 

My thoughts are with the Olson family at this time while sending love from Atlanta. 

My heart is broken losing Justin. He brought such a light and warmth to this world. His family is in my thoughts as they mourn the loss of their son/brother. We love and miss you Justin. The world is darker without your smile. 

Justin, this is the last photo we have of you.  The last time we saw you.  It was a wonderful Christmas Eve together.  If we only knew that it would be the last time we would ever see you, we would have hugged you longer.  We would have told you how much we love you and how proud we are of your accomplishments.  We only hope now that you knew that.  Your cousins looked up to you & enjoyed every minute they spent with you through the years.  We love you Justin and our hearts are aching with deep sorrow.  We hope you are at peace now.
