Randy was born in Denver, Colorado to Douglas and Dorothy Gish on May 27, 1957. He was loved and raised by his father and step-mother, Ingrid Gish. He was the oldest of four children.
Randy lived his entire life in the state that he loved, Colorado. He was educated in Denver and graduated from George Washington High in 1976. Randy was a natural athlete and excelled in sports, especially baseball and wrestling.
During high school Randy worked at King Soopers. Randy loved the Colorado mountains and became a train operator in the Leadville mines. He later worked for Holsom Bread Company, supplying the ski resorts. That was when he met Donna and they were married. A few years later they went their separate ways and Randy moved back to Aurora.
Randy became the Manufacturing and Sales Manager of Brahma Truck Toppers. In less than one year, Brahma of Colorado became the most efficient center of the company with the highest growth. During this time, he met and married his wife, Lizabeth Allgeier on February 15, 1985. He became the loving father of her two children, Joseph and Jamie whom he adopted. Twelve years later, the family was blessed with the birth of their third child, Natalie.
Randy's last job was Catering Supervisor at Frontier Airlines. He was highly respected as a hard-working and supportive supervisor. When Randy was on the schedule, the airline did not experience expensive delays, so crutial in the airline industry.
Randy loved the great outdoors, especially when he had a fishing pole in his hand and the sun in hair. He was the happiest when camping with his family near a lake or stream. He also loved working in his yard. His yard was full of flowers, bushes and trees. He also took pride in having the greenest grass in the neighborhood.
He was also known around the neighborhood as Mr. Fix It and the neighborhood dad. If he wasn't working on a lawn mower engine, he would be seen flying his toy helicopter for the neighbor kids.
