Regla Magdalena Berrayarza

Regla Magdalena Berrayarza, age 68, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. Regla was born May 25, 1953 in Havana, Cuba to Juan and Lilia Berrayarza. She moved to Washington D.C. at a young age. During her teenage years she acquired a passion for caring for others, which is why when she graduated high school she began attending college to become a nurse. Regla graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree and became a nurse.

Regla moved to Denver, Colorado where she met David Williams. They fell in love and started their family with their daughter, Ysolina. David passed away when Ysolina was young, and Regla showed strength in raising her daughter by herself, and continuing her nursing career throughout the Denver area. Her family continued to grow with Ysolina's daughter, Zion, who she adored and doted on.

Regla never met a sale she didn't like. She loved gold jewelry and always bought the best jewelry when it was on sale. She was bilingual and articulate and witty in both her native language and English. She was so funny and had a laugh that could make others crack up instantly. She loved food and was always trying something new. Her family will remember all of these beautiful qualities about her.

Regla is preceded in death by her husband, David. She is survived by her daughter, Ysolina (Kyle); granddaughter, Zion; brother, Jose; and dearest friend, Jenneice. She will be deeply missed.

A reception for Regla will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel.
