Robert was only 41 years old when he died, but in his short life touched many people and made many special friends on his road through life. He was especially close with his nephew, Mitchell. Robert loved music and shared his love of that music with his nephew. He played the piano and clarinet and he sang tenor. He did study opera but had other interests in his life. Not only did he study his passion for music but he pursued other areas in life. He held a degree in Business and Coding from Concord Career College.

But it was Robert's love and devotion to his family and special friends that kept Robert going every day. To know Robert was to understand what a gentle soul he really was.

He would give his last dollar to a person who needed it without hesitation. Even his dog Blue knew what a gentle soul he had. Anthony and Allison were his cooking buddies. He loved plays, movies, and going to the mountains. But Robert loved his family and friends most of all and is leaving many behind who will never forget what a giving person he was.

Robert Ponikiski is survived by his mother, Barbara and his brother, Steven. He also leaves behind grandmother, Millie, 8 uncles and aunts, and 6 nieces and nephews.

We also want to let Robert's special friends know that they are and will always be part of our family now and forever. Because of Robert's love for you, we will always remember who you are and how much you loved our Robert. We love you, Robert and may you rest in peace.
