

Aldo Maurizio Ferraiolo, a devoted and kind-hearted man, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family at Southlake Health after a long struggle with dementia.
Aldo is survived by his loving wife, Anne-Marie, and his adoring daughters, Emily and Kairi. He is also survived by his sisters, Anna (Leo Racioppo) and Maria Ferraiolo, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Amerigo and Theresa Ferraiolo, and his brother, Frank.
Aldo was a loyal and gentle soul who retired after 42 years of dedicated service at Beth Tikvah Synagogue. He was a man of faith who, in the end, longed to be with his Lord and Savior. His personal interests included a deep love of music, and he was known for committing many tunes to memory and playing the drums. He also enjoyed traveling, primarily within Canada and the United States, and had a passion for the theatre.
Aldo's legacy is defined by his faithful devotion to his family. He loved spending time with Anne-Marie and his daughters, whether on simple shopping trips to Walmart or more adventurous journeys to Disney. He wanted everyone to be happy and lived his life with a focus on family and joy.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, located at 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G 6W8, on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Aldo's gentle spirit and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
