Andre was widely known for his deep faith in God and his many years of devoted service as an Anglican/ANiC pastor. Alongside his late wife of 43 years, Brenda Leroux (d. 2014), he carried out his calling through ministry and outreach, caring for individuals and communities in New Tecumseth, Toronto, Orillia, and the surrounding areas. After Brenda’s passing he continued his ministry in Eganville, the Ottawa Valley, and Pembroke, offering compassionate care.
A lover of nature and meaningful conversation, Andre enjoyed camping, playing guitar, and sharing stories of faith. His hands were always creating—through carpentry he filled his home with pieces that reflected his creativity.
He is survived by his five children, Jon (Sara), Jamie (Dorothy), Andrew (Meagan), Cari (Julien), and Sarah (Shaka); eight grandchildren.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at: Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario.
