Passed away peacefully on Friday August 5, 2022 at Aurora Resthaven at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Norman Stacey. Loving mother of Bradley (Anna) Stacey, Sylvia (Rick Turner), Cathy (Ed Haskell) and Sheila (John Stella). Cherished grandmother of Rick (Andrea), Nicole (Mike), Bryon, Katie (Jay), Jenn (Dmitry), Stacey (Brian), Caroline (Adam), Jeffrey (Mallory) and great grandmother of Jack, Wyatt, Max, Hayden, Dominik, Scarlett, Hunter, Austin and Lilia. Dear sister of the late Victor (Jill) Zakary and sister-in-law of the late Al (the late Flo) Stacey and the late Carl (Ann) Stacey. Survived by brother-in-law George (Jeannette) Stacey. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anne loved her family and friends so deeply and will be fondly remembered as an avid Blue Jays Fan who enjoyed travelling, animals and the simple things in life. Please join the family in celebrating her life. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Tuesday August 9 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday August 10 at 11am with interment to follow at the Aurora Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Aurora Resthaven, Mill 3 for making her final days well cared for and comfortable, especially in the company of her wonderful friends she had there.
