Anthony "Tony" John Adams

Passed away quietly at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday April 28, 2019. Tony is survived by his wife Barbara. Born in Lytham St. Annes Lancashire, he immigrated to Canada in 1950 with his parents Bill and Gladys Adams and his sister Janice (Berkenmeier.) Tony graduated from Huntsville High School in 1960 and from Queen's University in 1964 with a degree in civil engineering. During his employment with Hatch-Mott he traveled to Edmonton, South Africa, Trinidad and California finally settling in Toronto. Tony enjoyed fine cars throughout his life, racing at Mosport and finally restoring a classic Alpha Romeo to pristine condition only to be driven if it wasn't raining. We remember Tony as a quiet, reliable and supportive part of our family. We will miss him, but will be comforted by his memory.

Visitation for Tony will be held on Sunday June 9, 2019 from 12 until the time of the Memorial Service beginning at 1 pm in the Chapel at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8.
