Mr. Benson Lazar Andrews

Andrews, Benson Lazar May 11, 1975 - July 22, 2014. It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Benson while residing in Sacramento, California. Beloved son of Pulikkottil and Leela Andrews, brother Robin, sister-in-law Carrie, his niece and nephew Nina and Issac, god parents Dev and Mary Devassy, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. Benson was born in Edmonton and attended elementary school at St. Theresa & high school at Louis St. Laurent. Benson had a passion for flying and completed his Aviation Diploma at Edmonton Flight Club. He also earned a Bachelor of Administration with a Major in Business Management in 2008 from Almeda University. Benson has worked in the sales and marketing field since 1999. Over the last 5 years Benson had worked as a senior management consultant through his own marketing firm. He had a passion for his career and through his strong leadership skills mentored many people during this period. Nicknamed the “friendly giant”, he will always be remembered for his humour, big heart and genuine friendship. He has helped many people during his life and touched everyone he encountered. He was extremely loyal and never gave up in the people he believed in. Benson’s presence will sadly be missed by many and can never be replaced.

Viewing will be on Friday August 1, 2014 between 7-9pm at Thompson Funeral Home 530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8, Canada. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge Street Aurora on Saturday August 2 at 10am. Interment at Aurora Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
