My sincere condolences to family and friends of Beverley. 
I am deeply saddened to learn today that Beverley is no longer with us.  I first met Beverley while I was working as casual at her school. She was so kind to me and had spent over an hour on the phone convincing me to apply for a job posting that I didn’t think I was good enough for. To my surprise, I got the job and I would  not be where I am today without her encouragement and support.   We last saw each other a couple of years ago and it was if we had never parted ways.   Beverley, I miss you and greatly miss our chats.  Sending peace, love and light to you and your family.

Yesterday I learned of Beverley's passing and I was extremely shocked and saddened.  Such a lovely soul gone too soon.  Beverley and I worked together in the Law Division of Ontario Hydro/OPG as colleagues and friends.  Beverley was a dedicated co-worker, a real "gem" of a person, always cheerful, helpful, upbeat and kind....a joy to be around.  Although we lost track of each other over the years, I've often thought of Beverley with fondness.  Bruce and family, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

We were next door neighbours in Scarborough,  your other neighbour Debbie just told me of Beverley’s passing. When I bought the house I was so happy to have such great neighbours and missed you all when you left, you are a unique loving family. Beverley was so talented making dance outfits, she was always so bright and bubbly, full of love and kindness. I remember when Crocks came out she had quite a few brightly coloured ones.  I was just talking to one of my Girl Guides the other day about the great ice rink you had in the backyard.  I actually saw a car pull up a week ago and take a photo of your house and wondered if it was the girls as they would be all grown up now.  Hearing of your loss I think it probably was them.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all,  take comfort in knowing you have a special Angel watching over you all. Peace be with you.

Beverley was an amazing friend, colleague and mentor.  She always knew what to do and what to say no matter the situation.  Her desk was always surrounded by staff. She was a truly special person and naturally drew people in, making all those around her feel comfortable.  She had so much pride in her children and love for her family which shone through in the many stories she shared. She was the best mom and unwavering in support of each of her children.  My heartfelt condolences to Brett, Lindsay, Sarah and Bruce.

Our hearts were so heavy and saddened to hear of Bev's passing. We fondly reminisce about many summer afternoons spent at your cottage. Bev always made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Her smile and warmth will always be remembered by us.  She was such a genuinely kind person.

It was our pleasure to have a visit from Bev, Bruce, Brett and Lindsay at our house in Nova Scotia this summer. Attached is a sweet photo of Bev helping to feed our baby at that visit.

You are all in our prayers. While we are mourning, we also thank God for Bev's life. It was truly a blessing to have known her. 

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Bev. I first met Bev while working at Macleods Landing. She was such a bright light in the office. You knew anytime you walked in with a question or needed help, she was always willing to be there and with a smile. She will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to her entire family. May you hold on to the many memories and cherish them each day. 

I was so saddened to hear of Bev’s passing. I have great memories of dancing with her at Sherry's and then continuing to dance with her at my studio. Bev and I designed many costumes together and had a great deal of fun creating. She always looked on the bright side of everything and had a contagious laugh. Until we meet again 💜

I met Bev while working at MacLeod's Landing PS.  Bev's warmth, kindness and humor are what I think about when I think of Bev. She was such a positive and kind human being, who made everyone feel at ease. I was so saddened by her loss and I extend my deepest sympathies to her lovely family and friends. 

I remember Beverley fondly from the "Borough Days".   Always smiling or laughing,  always so pleasant and kind, a good soul.   Although our paths crossed only a few times in the past decades, when we did meet I was taken back to our youth just seeing her friendly smile.   

I'm not sure if Beverley is in the attached photo of the "Borough Crowd" on a camping trip, but it epitomizes the fun and joy of this  particular time in her life.

Bruce, my condolences to you and your family.  May the many wonderful memories you have of Beverley be a blessing.

I first met Bev not long after the Bonds moved to Aurora.  It was not long after we were introduced that I invited Bev and Sarah to go trick or treating with us.  As with most things Bev did, she jumped right in and went trick or treating the 'Aurora' way. That is to say, while the kids were gathering candy, we were refilling our traveling mugs with wine at the neighbours who somehow knew to expect us.  
Every Halloween I think of that story and always find someone to tell it to.

I will miss you Bev. Your warm heart. Your kindness. Your easy smile.  You were a light to all you touched.

The day I met Bev , was graduation day for Lindsay an Cyle.  I remember thinking, how will this go ? The 2 mom's meeting ??  I had no worries,  I soon realized they were 2 souls. They talked for an hour over dinner,  an I know, they could have talked for days. Bev was that type of person, so easy to be around,. Lots of family stories, and laughs. In the short time I  had to meet her,  she was a Joy to know, and be around.

Bruce, we were saddened to hear of Beverley’s passing.  Please know that you and Brett, Lindsay and Sarah are in our thoughts and prayers.  These times don’t allow us to grieve with you in person but we will definitely thinking of you.


BEVERLEY
I first met Beverley in the sand at Clearwater Beach, Florida, when we were little girls. The Parkers were one of a group of families that vacationed there every March break. Building sandcastles turned into shopping sprees and other “adventures”. The Florida vacations were very special times. 
Beverley was pretty and slim. (I was chubby!) She had lovely long, silky hair. (My hair frizzed!) Beverley was an excellent swimmer and a beautiful  highland dancer. (I could do neither of these things.) Beverley was talented, funny and smart. I was so jealous!
Back home as “tweens” and teenagers, we enjoyed our sleepovers and summers at Sparrow Lake Camp. So much laughter and sharing growing up! Finally, I moved to Montreal.
Through our marriages and motherhood, we tried to mark each other’s milestones. We would lose each other for long periods of time but would reconnect with ease. I regret there was never enough time…but I cherish every moment spent with Beverley. I loved her dearly.
I was in awe of Bev’s resiliency and her no nonsense approach to life. She inspired and supported me through my own difficult times. 
I know she married the love of her life and her greatest pride and joy came from her children. 
To Bruce, Brett, Lindsay, and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words adequate, but please know that Beverley touched many lives and will be remembered.

Such a wonderful person who will be missed by so many. 
We had only meet Bev a few years ago but in that few years she became very dear to us.  Bev was full of grace, joy and an inspiration to everyone she met.

We met Bev and Bruce while on holiday in the Dominican and Bruce had one rum too many and was snoozing in the sand dunes. Bev approached to ask us for help to get Bruce to bed which Jonathan and our brother in law obliged.  From that short meeting we spent the rest of the holiday time together. We stayed in touch. She was the most wonderful and genuine person. She loved her family so much and I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. We were due to visit Canada last year and to visit Bev and Bruce but it was cancelled due to covid. This will be a massive regret for us but we hope we will be able to visit in the future to visit Bruce and her legacy, her 3 beautiful children. Our love and prayers are with you all.

We are extremely saddened upon learning about Beverley’s departure. Beverley has always been enthusiastic, kind, and had a big warming smile on her face. We still vividly remember the night when we first arrived in Aurora and were clueless about the environment. When we knocked on your door to seek help, Beverley patiently explained the details and gave us a warm welcome with the characteristic friendly smile on her face. Whenever we see Beverley when we go outside, she always waved at us and smiled back, which never fails to bring a smile to our face. It is truly a shame that our world has lost such a lovely lady so soon. We want to express our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. 

Our sincere condolences to Bruce, Brett, Lindsay and Sarah.  Our hearts were heavy when we heard Bev's cancer had returned, and  were so sad to hear of her passing on Sunday.  Bev was an incredibly kind, warm and sincere lady and it was a real joy to know her.  She welcomed our whole family during our visits to the cottage and their home.  She had a unique way of making everyone feel instantly comfortable and at home.  We enjoyed a visit with Bev this past summer in Nova Scotia (photo attached) which is a sweet memory.
We will miss her.

Bev was such a joy to be around! I loved being with her in our school office because she was so positive. She gave me this gift before she left,  and I feel like it really speaks to  who she was. My heartfelt condolences to her loved ones.

My heartfelt condolences to Bruce and the family on Bev's passing.   She was so courageous right to the end.   I have known Bev for many years, dating back to when she was a teenager and a close friend of my daughter, Susan.    Lifeguarding together made them friends for life.   It seemed there was always a girl's dinner, with the four besties together.   Bev's smile and utter joy of life was contagious.   She never let anything get her down and was always so optimistic in general.      May your many memories get you through this difficult time but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.


Life is truly more beautiful because we met Bev.  From our 2:00pm lunches to our weekly phone calls talking about everything under the sun. Auntie Bev will always have a special place in our hearts. We will miss you dearly but know you are smiling down on us each day.

I’ve never met anyone quite like Bev. She had this innate ability to make you feel like her best friend. No judgement, just honest curiosity about your state of being. Never mind her troubles, what about yours? Beverly was comfortable with people, always, and you were always comfortable in her presence. Thank you Bev for the laughs and the long talks at the beach. Thank you for checking in and genuinely caring. For being more than my sister in law, for being my friend. May all the stars around you shine, always. Bev was a lovely mom to spend time with at simply highland.  She was a great conversationalist and so helpful in bringing the new parents along. She made beautiful kilts and other highland costumes.  I loved travelling with her to Pennsylvania and Robbie Burns dinners at the Legion.  They were all such fun!!

You will get missed Bev.  You made a lasting impact on our lives.

To Bruce and the Bond family, our sincere condolences. I first met Bev at the Sandiford’s annual Christmas Eve party, eight years ago.  She was such wonderful company, I feel blessed that our paths crossed that day.  To quote Maya Angelou  ‘people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel. Bev had such a warm kind-hearted spirit, which will live on in all who knew her. We had many chats when she would wave me down as I walked the dogs passed her house. I was very sorry to hear of Beverley's passing.  My deepest condolences go out to her famiy. I first met her a few years ago at the doctors office. I remember her cheerfulness and how positive her attitude was despite knowing that she had the fight of her life ahead. She never gave up hope and fought the battle with such determination, strength and dignity. I feel such great admiration towards her and am proud to say that I had the opportunity to know her if only for a short time. After losing my son a few years ago I struggled with that question WHY!! Why does the lord take from us good people that are still needed and loved so much. I still don't have the answer but I get comfort in knowing that he is in a beautiful place where there is no suffering and love is plentiful. One day we will all be together again and that is something to look forward to. For now I have all my memories and that keeps me going. I wish the same for all of the Bond Family that one day you find the same peace and contentment.

It’s so difficult to share a favourite memory when there are so many.  This is a testament to how Bev lived her life - she was not going to miss anything! She grabbed life by the horns and rode hard.  I feel truly blessed to have met Bev and her family, and be a part of that ride. Even though I knew Bev 'in person' briefly, it was obvious that she was a very special person indeed.  Her warmth and hospitality during our visit to your Cottage is a memory that I, and your RBC friends, share to this day. 

Someone once said that God calls to Him the people He most needs most dearly and in the case of Bev He has added a special person to do His work. I know that you and the kids must miss her dearly, but know that she is in a far better place and is looking down on all of us with the grace, humor and determination that characterized her life. 

Take care and know that you and your family are surrounded by people who care about you.

I am not sure we could really call it work – the MacLeod’s Landing office was a “well-oiled machine” according to Bev. Our team clicked right away and we sailed along smoothly until Pam’s transfer to a new school. For weeks Bev worried about who we would get to replace Pam and even worse – “what if they send us a boy!” Then along came Brandon. A new team dynamic was created where Bev invested time trying to convince Brandon that tartan was “in” and highland dance was “cool”. There may even have been a short office demo offered on a quiet afternoon. We all benefitted from shared time together. Bev’s warmth, kindness, caring and heart transcended our work-lives at MacLeod’s. We have enjoyed many “catch-ups” and much laughter since. Extremely blessed to have experienced this wonderful friendship.

I was lucky to meet Bev through a mass of friends from a summer and part time job lifeguarding. The group had so much fun, both during and after work. So many outings, road trips, parties, and adventures. For years. 
No matter how much fun we were having, it was always better if Bev was there.
I remember her enjoying some of the finest establishments in town, like the Alpine, Broom & Stone and everything that replaced it, or a Boiler. Truly gifted, because she always knew when I was shaving. As everyone knows, that's the best time to phone for a ride. As a kid, it would still be the high point of my day. 
So many fond memories of one of the best. Details are available on request, but you had better be able to laugh until you cry.

I will always remember Bev, for her gentle, gracious, nature.  Such a challenging life and I never heard her complain.  I'm sure she was the strongest person I know.  A privilege to know her.

It was an absolute joy to come over to visit Brett and be welcomed in by Bev. She always enjoyed catching up on how everyone was doing and couldn’t say enough about how proud she was of Brett, Lindsay, and Sarah. It was clear that Bev always loved having her family home. My deepest condolences to the Bond family. 

Well, of course there was always Bev’s ever present smile and laughter. Anyone whoever knew Bev knows that to be true but the best memory that will always and forever stay with me is the one that I will share with you now. I have been at MacLeod’s since the school opened in 2006 and I have taught music from the very beginning. I have held tons of concerts over the years for my bands and a few choirs too but the very first year Bev came to our school she would sometimes pop into the gym when we were doing our rehearsals and I never thought much of it really. I just figured she was doing her “secretary thing”…looking for a student, maybe delivering a message (did she need to speak to me?) I wasn’t sure and of course I was always frantic as I was preparing for yet another concert! Then, the night of the winter concert arrives and who is one of the first people to walk into the gym and take her seat? Beverley Bond! I couldn’t believe my eyes! “Bev! What are you doing here?!” I exclaimed. “I’ve come to watch your concert and hear your band,” she responded with the BIGGEST smile you ever did see! Well, I was just so moved that this brand new secretary, who had only been at our school for a few months, would bother to take the time out of her life and genuinely want to come to an elementary school concert! How sweet and adorable and beyond wonderful was that?! THAT was Bev! I’ll never forget it as long as I live. I’ll never forget you, Bev. Thank you. Just a treasure. We will miss you but you will forever be in our hearts❤️

Bev will always be remembered at the dance studio as a loving, friendly and genuinely kind mom who gave everyone her sunshine when she entered the room.  I always loved chatting with her and laughing.  May your memory be eternal and your kindness live on in your children and those who loved you.  Always in our hearts.

Bev will always have a place in my heart. As a teacher at Macleod's Landing P.S, she kept the staff in order. With her beautiful smile and kind nature, she was loved by staff and students. I will remember Bev's calm nature and I am sending my thoughts and prayers to those closest to her.
