Fondly remembered by Christine Poole, Lorraine (and Alan) Dawes, the families of Isabel Hopkins, Colin Rea, Lynn Rogers and many other nieces and nephews in England and in Canada. The family would like to thank the many nurses and doctors at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket who helped look after her medical issues in recent years, with special thanks to Dr. K. Teoh, Dr. Bob Doherty, Dr. Ken Roberts, Dr. Dan Campbell, Dr. Y. Khaykim, Dr. Murray Weingarten, Dr. Y. Rahim, Nurse Candy Hulbert, Michele Sayer and other professionals who helped look after her caringly while at home. Brenda was an avid and knowledgeable gardener all her life, who enjoyed cryptic crosswords, politics, world news and financial affairs. At her request, cremation has taken place, and a private gathering of immediate family celebrated her life. Any memorial donations in her honour to The Beatrice Watson-Acheson Foundation (thekindnessprogram.org/), or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
