

Brian was a beloved son, father, brother, friend and mentor. He touched the lives of many with his advice, compassion and integrity. He possessed a brilliant mind and was well known for being a sharp businessman and Wealth Manager at RBC Dominion Securities for 35+ years. He was affectionately referred to as “BR” by those who loved him.
Brian was born to Margaret and Hank Roy in Woodstock, Ontario. Brian was a student of The University of Toronto and Western University and a graduate of the Ivey School of Business. Brian excelled at a variety of sports. He was an expert alpine skier, windsurfer, golfer, mountain biker with an enduring passion for hockey with many of his close friends. He had a newfound love and became an aficionado of soccer after watching his sons play.
Brian was predeceased by his father Hank. He is survived by his mother Margaret, his wife Kaley, his three children Seija, Derek and Quintin. He also leaves behind his two beloved sisters, Joanne Roy and Mary Ellen Harrison (Rick) and multiple nieces and nephews.
His family is working on creating a charitable organization, “The Brian Roy Memorial Fund” reflecting his love and passion for soccer by helping youth achieve their dreams.
